Hi !!! I'm Gary , you'd call me a metalhead !!! Yes , I'm into heavy metal music , with a preference for power metal , gothic/doom metal and progressive metal . Most of the bands I like come from Europe , but I find there's decent metal all over the world , like Terra Sur from South America ,Temujin from Australia , Forty Birds from Montreal , Canada , Thy Symphony from Brazil ( Camila sure is a sweetie!!! ) and many , many more !!! I like American bands like Kamelot , Iced Earth , Symphony X and Dream Theater , but my current favourite bands like Epica , After Forever , Satyrian , and Nightwish are , all, like me , from Europe . .... ..... I also have a great love for railroads and trains , a different kind of heavy metal . Since I was a kid , I've been fascinated by these steel giants , heavy weights rolling on those shiny ribbons of steel that criss cross the countries of the world . One of my fondest dreams is to take The Canadian , a cross country train trip covering Canada , and it's beautiful sights , from Toronto to Vancouver . .............. I'm also a fan of urban adventure , the exploration of old buildings and abandoned sights , places once useful , now left to rot and decay . I've never done any , preferring to see these sights via the safety of my computer and my room , although there's many places I'd like to check out . Toronto has Canada Malting , a 100 year old , 15 story abandoned grain elevator . Then there's Pripyat , Ukraine , rendered into an unlivable ghost city , thanks to the radiation spread by the Chernobyl meltdown , back in 1986 . I'd also like to see Famagusta , a city on the east coast of Cyprus , a large portion which has been abandoned since the Turkish invasion back in 1974 . .....
