Okay, so...I've been playing the piano basically my whole life....I'm okay, not nearly as technically proficient as I'd like to be...BUT...I'm not interested in playing other people's music, so...
...I write my own stuff.
I enjoyed classical music as a child, mostly in part to the "Hooked on Classics" album that my parents had, and I have been "Hooked on Classics" ever since!
I've spent the last 14 years rocking out in various punk, rock and metal bands ...but I would also occasionally plunk around on my keyboard every now and then. Since I'm not playing in any bands right no, the fire for the piano has returned, and I'm falling in love with it all over again. It's a wonderful feeling! "Reunited and it feels so gooood" *Sorry I've been ignoring you...
ANYWHO.....
I have recorded 4 sonatas, and they represent my very soul. I have some rough recordings of them up here as demos (but I just got a new keyboard, so I'll be putting up some better recordings here shortly)....and I just finished writing another one (back on 5-21-8, which I will record first). I've gotten a handful of others that are in-complete, and they may never see the light of day...but who knows....
I hope you all enjoy these songs, I put alot of myself into them. If you wanna know more about the backgrounds behind each song, you can check out the blogs. I don't have one for all 4 of them yet (11-13-8), but I'm working on it...
