Influences: (((( Driving the Desert - Setup Gear List)))) ____________________________________________________________ ______Well hmmm...this is not influences, because I hate the Flu... er.. uh.. ahem... Oh yes that equipment list... Ok, my drums are PDP aka Pacific Drums and Percussion, which is Drum Workshop aka DW's offspring... kinda sorta I think. The drums are listed in sizes, so here they are. ------------------------------------------------------------ -------------------------------- 22"x18" bass drum.. 5"x14" birch snare.. 5 1/2"x14 maple snare (a rare '57 Slingerland "artist" next to the 16"floor tom).. Custom made 8"x6" closed tom.. Closed Toms 7"x8", 8"x10", 9"x12", 12"x14", 14"x16"... ------------------------------------------------------------ -------------------------------- I am also using Evans heads this year... EC2 clear heads on top, single ply on the bottom, a coated 2ply head on the snare, and an Emad head on the bass drum. I also had the bass drum resonant head printed with the "Driving the Desert" theme by Maxheads.com . ------------------------------------------------------------ -------------------------------- Vic Firth HD4 and/or 55A American Hickory are my drumsticks of choice this year. ------------------------------------------------------------ -------------------------------- Cymbals by Zildjian Sabian and Wuhan .. 13" hihat, 8"(Sabian) and 10"(Wuhan) splashes, 2-16" crashes, 2-18" crashes, 18" ride, 14" and 18"(both Wuhan) chinas. ------------------------------------------------------------ -------------------------------- Hardware is all Pacific except a few custom pieces. ------------------------------------------------------------ -------------------------------- Last of all I am still using Roland electronic drums... The 9 pads I'm using are both PD-7 and PD-9 and also a trigger pedal (next to the hi-hat)... For Samples I'm using a laptop(yes I'm crazy) connected Usb to Midi to a Roland TD-7 module. Thanks to all of the Gear-heads for reading this. -Max
