About Me

Rafael Calman was born in 1982 in Siegburg, Germany, and grew up near Bonn. As a kid he got interested in music and played the drums occasionally. With 13 he started to play the drums more seriously, doing so in several Rockbands. After school he did the same but getting more interested in Jazz now. Since 2006 he studies Jazz-drumming at the Musikhochschule KÃ¶ln with Michael KÃ¼ttner and Keith Copeland and plays with some nice and talented beings.
