Leann Rose's first original single, "Good Morning Sunshine", is now up for the listening! Listen to it and pass it on to your friends!Leann Rose is an aspiring musician who's about to graduate from college with a major in film and a minor in music. Currently she is working on the music video for her first song, "Good Morning Sunshine", as her senior project. The video will be premiered at the TAT Capstone Festival on December 12th, at the CSUMB World Theater. After that, the video will be on Myspace, as well as LeannRose.net . Song Notes: Good Morning Sunshine:This is the first song that I ever completed in its entirety. I wrote all of the music in Garageband, with the drum loops being the only loops used; the rest were done via MIDI. The vocals were recorded by CSUMB's MPA department of awesome music gurus who volunteered to help me out and mix the song. Soon the music video will be up!When You're Good to Mama: I recorded my vocals over a karaoke track as a project for a music production class. The song turned out so good that I show off the track whenever I get the chance, hence why it's on here.
Sell Out Pop Star: This is a parody to Britney Spears' "Baby One More Time". I made a short film making fun of the pop industry, with a heavy emphasis on Britney Spears. The film follows the life of Christie Lears, a brand new pop star that can't sing or act, but is mega-famous nonetheless. The lyrics to the song were co-wrote with my friend Avery and is sung with my actually singing voice (as opposed to Christie Lears' crappy, sing-like-you're-constipated voice) and is meant to demonstrate the manufactured-ness of the pop industry.
