First time I had a musical instrument in my hands was an acoustic guitar I bought in 1966-67.At the time there were many bands making their career which later would be known as the founders of a new kind of music called Rock Music (The Beatles,The Rolling Stones,The Animals,The Beach Boys,The Monkeys etc.).It was the time when a few guitar players got a special status in their bands with their guitar solos which would become the trade mark of rock music(Jimi Hendrix,Eric Clapton,Peter Green and later Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page with The Yardbirds).These guitar players influenced the whole generation of musicians at the time,including myself,being especially influenced by Hendrix and Clapton.This influence accompanied me in the seventies when bands like Led Zeppelin,Deep Purple,Allman Brothers Band,Santana...became incredibly popular.All these bands and their music helped me find my musical personality in Blues where a great deal of inspiration I got from E.Clapton and Allman Brothers Band.In 1974,I founded with some friends a band called Tonic where we started to play for the first time rock music and went on for another ten years.Then in the eighties,guitar playing changed a lot with the Guitar Heroes like Eddie Van Halen,Joe Satriani and Steve Vai.Satriani was the one who really got me with his inventive virtousity.
Currently,I’ve been preparing the material for my first Instrumental CD which,I hope,will be out soon.And in my near future,I will be working on a project as an effort of rounding out a modest opus of my personal career.
