G Ruger was born in Durham NC. Raised up in Few Gardens projects he was exposed to the street life in his earlier years. With no father figure he would soon be living the very things he witnessed as a child. taking him even deeper into the streets. By the time he was 12 years he moved with his mother to McDougald Terrace projects where he started being in the streets even more. Guns drugs and violence became everyday life. In the mist of that he started indulging in rap freestyling with friends on the corner. People always told him that he was a raw talent. Now turning a new leaf he is taking his street saavy and applying it to beats and rhymes. Considering himself to be a lyrycist, his music touches on eveyything from streets love storytelling to political issues. A southern MC with the ability to take it to the east or the west with no problem. He is a force to be reckoned with. Representing Durham to the fullest.
