I guess this is the part where I'm supposed to show you how awesome and witty I am. Well we're gonna skip that part. I love music, especially rock. Ilike metal too but that's kinda misleading depending on who is reading this. People call everything "metal" now. If you are a guy in girl jeans and look like an emo scene kid... well thenno the shit you listen to/your band is not metal. Had to be said!
I've been playing guitar forever. I love it. Rest assured my tones will beat your tones anyday. Yeah that's pretty arrogant but I figure I should givefair warning before I rock your balls off. Once it happens you might want to watch where you step! I take lessons from the one and only virtuoso Rusty Cooley. However I miss lessons a lot and don't practiceenough so don't judge him by my performance. Seriously though being in a room with that guy is a humbling experience. If you're a guitarist and thinkyou are a badass go see him. You'll probably never think you're a badass again. ;)
Lately I've been getting into the recording side of things. Well lately as in a few years and I gotta say I'm getting pretty damn good at it. Hopefullysoon I'll be able to get a house that I can build a real studio in. I've got a lot of the stuff I need just not a nice treated room, but we're gettinthere. I'm always down with some communication with anyone else that's also into it. It seems to be the only money pit worse than being a musician. Ishould've went the cheap route and got a nice little heroine addiction instead.
I've been in some cool bands and had some great times. I'm going to be smarter this time around though. I've been writing my ass off, learning how torecord and pretty much doing it all myself. This way I won't have to deal with that one cock that seems to end up in every band.
BTW Houstonians in the next few months I'll be trying to put something new together again. I'll be looking for musicans around the same age as that knowhow to rock. Gotta have your own equipment and know how to play. I'm not down with drugs or huge egos. If you know me you know the type of music thisis going to be.
