About Me

Gary Curtis has a special voice, one that is rich and powerful whilst recognizing the emotion of the lyrics. He has entertained as a live performer who can delight and excite his audience and gain the respect of his peers. Performing throughout the world brought Gary to the attention of many acclaimed song writers, including Billy Swan (I can help, Lover please) and Barry Mason (Delilah, The Last Waltz, There Goes My First Love) who offered to write new songs especially for him. The last couple of years took Gary to The House of Blues Studio in California to record with Billy Swan, Randy Meisner (The Eagles) Bruce Gary (The Knack) and to Prague to record with the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra arranged and conducted by Nic Raine (View to a kill, The living daylights) and to Londons Whitfield Street studio to complete his debut album "If i give my love to you" As Billy Swan said "Its one hell of an album". With a collection of ballads and up tempo tracks that demonstrate Gary's extraordinary vocal talent, his twelve track album includes a duet with Billy Swan on his no 1 hit "I can help" featuring Randy Meisner on bass guitar and harmony vocals. The late Bruce Gary on drums and one of 7 original tracks on the album "Why did i let love go" written by Barry Mason. Headlining his own tours, including The royal Albert hall, more recently Gary was invited to perform at the 50Th anniversary of Rock and Roll in Memphis in July 2004. Guests at the show included Billy Swan, Justin Timberlake, Isacc Hayes, Scotty Moore and a host of Sun recording artists and musicians. Also in July, Gary was invited to perform at the W.C. Handy festival in Alabama and to record at the legendary Sun Studios in Memphis. Gary will be performing at festivals in the U K including Americana in July and in America later in the year. Gary will be on the front cover of the July issue of Maverick magazine with a cover mount CD which will have 3 tracks from his album and an exclusive bonus track recorded especially for Maverick. He starts recording his new album later this year. Both albums are distributed by RSK Entertainment. Gary's 12 track album "If i give my love to you" will be available from June in most record stores.
