Square Zero

Square Zero began as an idea in the minds of three Grove City College freshmen. Andrew Ruba (guitar, vocals), Jarrod Vinroe (bass), and Dan Van Matre (guitar, vocals) decided soon after meeting that they would like to write and play music that would combine their varied musical tastes and backgrounds. In October of 2007, they began writing and practicing together, and soon met Jonathan Althausen, another GCC freshman who played drums. After one tryout, it was obvious that Jon would be a perfect fit. The line-up of Square Zero was completed in mid-November with the addition of Jarrod's then-fiancee Laura Scheidt (now Vinroe) as a lead vocalist. The band is currently hard at work writing original material.
