Currently me and mine reside in Copperas Cove, while my living is made on Fort Hood.
Although Texas may be my location it will never be my home, that place in my heart will always belong to the great State of Maine- a place I've not seen much of since joining the U.S. Army in May of 2006. The Army has taken me, as a mechanic and wrecker operator, from South Carolina to South Korea. An experience to say the least. It hasn't all been good, but never have I regretted my decision to enlist. Anyone wanting an honest to God opinion of life in a combat support MOS in the modern Army just ask. I'm more than willing to share my experiences.
As said above I am married, have been since December 2007, not a long period of time- but one that has represented a never ending learning experience. The time we've shared has brought out the best and worst in both of us, mostly the best, and it's something I'm so thankful to have.
On another note I'm also thankful to have a vehicle that starts up first time every time, that has never left me stranded. I love my truck- a 2005 GMC Sierra 4x4- pictures in the appropriate section. I love my dog too, even if he's a freaking idiot, even if he feels the need to eat my favorite book and my laptops power cord in the same day. .
