G'day my names Mark Puls I remember my teenage years,seemed to be non stop beach parties, or where ever. Scuba diving with mates all over Australia, Playing the Drums in a couple of bands,[loved the groupies], Rebuilding engines and doing up old cars, Going to the drive in, and hopeing you will end up on the back seat,and enjoyed a little bit of Sailing.
I completed an apprenticeship as a Diesel Mechanic, I eventually fullfilled a dream that i had as a kid ,to own and drive my own truck Interstate,Which i have done for many years.
I had a ten year break from the road at one particular time, and purchased a motor Radiator and Air Conditioning business, where i managed to accheive a few more credits to my list.
In that time i ended up teaching Motor Mechanics to Army & Airforce apprentices,part time,raised a small fortune for disadvantage kids, prepared a car, and travelled from Melbourne To Broome in the Variety Bash.expanded the business to something i only dreamed of,and acchieved my private Pilots Licence.
But the Highway kept beckoning with me to come back, i suppose its just the way of life,no one looking over your shoulder, and telling you what to do, but i had to ask myself, maybe i am to old to go back, can i stay awake like i used to,where are all my old mates, are they still out there.
So like an old Mungrel Dog,i had to get out there and proove that the old bloke has still got it in him, and generally speaking just love long distance driving, i could write a book on the strangest things i have encounterd on the road, to many stories to put here.
I am the proud parent of a fantastic son, Joel, who is just a quiet acchiever,and seems to be following my footsteps, he has nearly finished an apprenticeship as a Diesel Mechanic, and also is a fantastic Drummer.My daughter Megan, well she is just going to be a legend, at the young age of 16, with her song writing skills, and Country singing, just knocking every ones socks off.
Keep that dream alive possum.I have a beautifull wife "Libby" who is just as good as the day i married her, but probally knows me better than i know myself.
Take things a little easier these days,i now drive a B-Double fuel tanker,and home a lot more, I enjoy camping, cooking, Producing Hams, bacon Kranskys, Strass, and other small goods,helping the kids with there music, and playing the Drums when i'm allowed.so I hope you enjoy having a browse of my site
