Suzy Wilde (23) was born with music all around her. Growing up her father, composer Doug Wilde and mother, satirical singer-songwriter Nancy White, both had an enormous influence on her, encouraging her interest in music. Wilde started performing at a young age, singing back up for her mother and her earliest studio experiences included such albums as "Momnipotent" (1990) , "Homely For the Holidays"(1994) and "Stickers on Fruit" (2002). She attended a performing arts high school called Wexford, where she developed a love for musical theatre and live performance. It was in high school that Suzy Wilde joined up with several mates and formed Alt-Country/Indie group, Stonefox (http://myspace.com/stonefoxden). A band comprised of actors and singers, Stonefox is strongly performance based, and has become known for putting on theatrical performances with a strong emphasis on Wilde's unique songwriting. More recently, Wilde has joined up with bassist, Ben Whiteley, and formed indie/folk group, Flashlight Radio (http://www.myspace.com/flashlightradio).Wilde is musical director of Musical Theatre Company, Beggars Bag Theatre ( http://www.beggarsbag.com). Co-founded by Wilde in 2007, Beggars Bag Theatre has mounted three large-scale productions in Toronto, raising over $8,000 for Harmony Foundation, Nepal.
