I'm a life long musician/producer. Started recording with my father in the late 70's on an old (new at the time) Teac 4 track reel to reel recorder.When 4 wasnt enough he bought me a Fostex A8 8 track reel to reel recorder. That gave way to a brand new 16 track Fostex G16 analog recorder(wich I still own to this day).Sometime in the 90's digital recording took over. Today in this new millenium I use a combo of Analog and Digtal. Analog mics, mic pre's and an old SSL analog mixer feeding the state of the art PRO TOOLS HD4 system. Bottem line is you can benefit from my years of trials and tribulations in the studio.
As a muscian I've been playing guitar since I was 6 years old. After a maney years on the local and regional circut playing for Cleveland's KIDD WICKED, I got a call from a guitar hero named Paul Gilbert of Racer X. That sent me to Las Vegas for 2 weeks of extensive rehersal, then on to Japan and Korea for Pauls "Flying Dog" tour. After coming home to the US, I got the call I was waiting for. Jani Lane called me and asked me to be the lead guitarist of "WARRANT". I toured with Warrant for 5 years and Co- produced and mixed Warrants "Under The Influence" CD.
Since leaving Warrant, I've played guitar for Jani Lane as a solo artist and have played select gigs with Quiot Riot including the "MONTERY METAL FEST" in front of 15 thousand people.Playing and flying around the world with Kevin Dubro and Frankie Banali was also an invaluable experince.
AS for now I am happy staying home and recording and producing bands @ LAVAROOM RECORDING. Clevelands#1 Studio.
