If love is shelter, I'm gonna walk in the rain.

About Me

the wheel's turnin, but the hamster's dead.... cognitive dissonance is probably the most accurate description of what consistently runs through my head. Thus far i've spent most of my life trying to avoid dealing with myself, while systematically creating more problems. I got a lot of nothing to bitch about, but i do it anyway. right now i'm trying to get a life worth living, and hopefully you'll be in it.

My Interests

Spending quantity (of not quality) time with the people I love, running away from responsabilities, kissing in the rain, playing rugby in the mud, getting lost in the mountains.

I'd like to meet:

Most of the people I would want to meet are dead, so unless I develop my polaris psycic powers more I do not see that happening. I tend to make friends wherever I go. I am all about new and exciting people.

Music:

as mucn as I can stand to listen to..and then a little bit more.

Movies:

Too many to name. Here are a few (in alphabetical order) Amadeus, Casablanca, Domino, Gone With the Wind, The Godfather Trilogy, The Good the Bad and the Ugly, Groundhog Day, Last Tango in Paris, Lawrence of Arabia, Les Enfants du Paradis (Children of Paradise), National Lampoon's Animal House, Pulp Fiction, Psyco, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Scarface, The Shawshank Redemption, Some Like It Hot, Sunset Boulevard, Titanic, Virgin Suicides, Vertigo, The Wizard of Oz

Television:

Kind of addicted to South Park.

Books:

Just finished Ana Karena, currently reading The Dubbliners (Did I spell that right?) for my 20th century lit. class. I am not the type of person that reads Joyce for fun.

Heroes:

Batman. because he keeps a little boy in a cave. Oh not that kind of hero?

My Blog

Social Pariah

I am antisocial. I would rather piece back my (well not exactaly mine) Cadillac than go out to eat with my friends. The other bad news is that I was not successful. I got the radiator back in and re...

Home again

For the past three nights I have had people from the Fort calling me trying to get me out to party. Normally I am down for a party, however I do not attend when I am on the other side of the country....

It happened

It is official. I am a loser. It has now been confirmed. I just spent the last couple of hours playing Super Nintendo in my friend's room. Have I nothing better to do? Well I could study. I should ...

Going VIP!

Camping in the Nautral Resources building and not studying for chemistry tests is my favorite thing in the world. And by camping I mean sitting on this great couch and by studying I mean procrastinati...

So over dorm life

I am really just killing time until eleven. What happens at eleven? The dorm dining hall opens and I can go to breakfast. I am tired of being told when I can and cannot eat. Last night I ate dinner...

Hooray for University (not being sarcastic)

This is a complete 180 from my last blog. I have been at college for about a month now and I must say, I am pretty darn good at it. Last night I went out and danced all night. It was about five in t...

Pretty darn worthless

I did nothing today. Literally nothing. I left my dorm room twice. And even then I only left because hunger drove me to scavenge for food. I should have gone to class. Well not really. I know tha...

Bricks in the wall (literally?)

I have completed decorating my room. It only took me a little over a week to do it! This only sounds pathetic until you take into account that I did not have my dorm room decorated the way I like it ...

Deep thoughts on Diet Coke

I blame the effect of going to college on making me think too much. Life depresses me. Impermant things are weighing me down. They are driving me nuts. Rolling Stone. Not another add for lipstick, no ...

New Year-the conclusion

In the end I went to three parties.  Or perhaps it was 2.5 because one was a very small gathering.  I met Katie's new boy.  He seems nice. I did not get to talk to him very much.  ...
