Pillow Fighting Limited is a new Sport to Australia. Pillow fighting originated in Canada, it was at a rock concert where some girls were invited on stage to have a pillow fight and the band was shocked at how many girls wanted to do it. AIM
The aim of pillow fighting is for two female contestants to fight each other with a standard issue man made fibre pillow (feathers are too dangerous as they tend to fill one end and make for a much deadlier weapon) in attempt to receive points. A judging committee, comprised of 3 judges, awards each fighter points during the fights based on the official judging criteria and points system in order to determine a winner.
GAME FORMAT
- Pillow fights are to be held in 3 x 1 minute rounds.
- Fights are to be held on a customised 3.5m x 3.5m pillow fight arena.
- For insurance reasons we can only allow female fighters, there is no restrictions on the type of body size etc of our fighters. In saying that there are standard uniforms which the fighters have to wear, so our fighters need to be comfortable and confident to fight in them.
- The winner is determined by a judging committee
