Arvas Has Been Around Under a Different Name (Orth), Since -93.
Orth was A One Man Piece Until Spring -96 Consisting Of Vassago Rex (Guitar/Vocals).
Then In The Early Summer Of -96,Grim(x-Immortal,x-Borknagar,x-Gorgoroth) On The Drums,And Ares(Aeternus,x-Gorgoroth,x-Immortal(Bass) joined.An Album Was Recorded Winter -96
The Album Was Not Officially Released,But Has Been Heard In The Underground Circuit And Has Recieved Some Appreciacion..The Band Constellation Ended Naturally Due To Grim's Suicide And Vassago Rex Decided To Keep On Going As A One Man Project.
And Changed The Name To Arvas.ArVaS Consist Of Vassago Rex On Vox,Guitars,Drums/Programming,Synths And Bass as The Only Fulltime Member.
But With Session Musicians For Concerts.Arvas Music Is Old School Black Metal,With A Thrashy Edge,Simple And Fresh. Lyrics Are Evolved Around Darkness,Death,Moods,Nature And The The War Against Christianity.Arvas 'Signed' A Little Deal With Mexican AZERMEDOTH Records Spring 08, a Split Album With Hordagaard Was Released March -09 ,And During Late-09 The Follow up and First Fullength ARVAS album will Most Possibly Be Released Though AZERMEDOTH RECORDS.This Is A Small Underground Label. So The Distribution Is Limited.
