Talibania was founded in the spring 2001 by Karilaz bin Laden, who was tired of making only electronical music and wanted to explore the punk-scene. After Satan Hussein lent him a four-string bass guitar he wrote the material for the first album, named In Allah we trust, in only one week and the material was soon recorded together with the multi-skilled musician Sturt:.
The album In Allah we trust soon became very popular amongst the norwegian underground scene. But the real breakthrough came six months later with the terror attack of the Twin Towers. Talibania, which coincidently had pictures of Osama bin Laden and aeroplanes on their cd, was now used for satirical purpose against the media hype around the incident. But Talibania, which realesed their cd half a year before the incident, soon has to surrender after the incident due to the pressure for new material. Another album, named Avloppsrens, was recorded in the summer 2003 though, but it was never officially released.
Talibania takes no one's side, and is instead here to blast you away with some old school punk!
