About Me

1. What color trousers are you wearing right now:
Trousers?! This is one of the *British* surveys, isn't it?
For your information, I'm wearing 100% proud American-style Beige SHORTS (in other words..probably MADE in Malaysia for 10 cents a PAIR and SOLD in the US for $25 on the rack of the local chain store).
2. What are you listening to right now:
Loreena McKennitt - Dante's Prayer (Album: Book of Secrets)
3. What are the last 2 digits of your phone number?
68 - darn, just one short.
4. What was the last thing you ate?
Grilled Bourbon Chicken, Grilled Garlic Chicken, twisty mac 'n cheese and Lo Mein with veggies.
5. If you were a crayon, what color would you be:
Azure Blue
6. How is the weather right now:
I Loove this crisp Fall weather with slight breeze..GO FALL..boo winter..
7. Last person you talked to on the phone: My Dad
8. First thing you notice about the opposite sex:
Don't notice the opposite sex..hehehe..just kidding..voice probably..timber, resonance, etc.
9. How are you today:
Hectic for a day off..ended up at work setting up equipment for our folks to use in FEMA emergency response office.
10. Favorite Drink:
Oh Geez..like I have to pick just ONE? Well, I do like cherry coke..when they make it with real cherries..other than that..hmm..well, you can lace just about anything with chocolate and *I'll* drink it.
11 Favorite Alcoholic drink:
AL-CO-WHAT? What's that? I seldom drink on account of my mum doing enough drinking for the both of us when I grew up. I can tell you it's definitely NOT Irish coffee like the one I had in Boston..I'm sure it was excellent but that was the most bitter thing I've ever tasted in my life. Hmm..schnapps..or maybe some of that warm apple spiced wine..but we're talking fumes here..
12. Favorite Sport: Martial Arts?
13. Hair Color:
Brown with blonde highlights. I'm sure if I keep working for the government for 20 more years that will be "dark gray..with light gray highlights".
14. Eye Color: Brown
15. Do you wear contacts or glasses:
Glasses..I don't trust that new-fangled "LAY-ZER" technology just yet.
16. Siblings: Only Child..with only child syndrome.
17. Favorite Month:
Hmm..probably October..maybe one of those Spring months too if it doesn't rain 5 inches in two days.
18. Favorite Food:
Just one..no way..how big is your mailbox size again? It's easier to list the foods I DON'T like..
"Liver and other associated internal organs"
..there, that's pretty much it..I (literally) cannot eat liver.
19. Last Movie you watched:
Shaun of the Dead (apparently the director's definition of " Romantic Comedy - with *zombies* " differs from mine.
There were definitely ZOMBIES, and the typical confused male/female ROMANCE plot..but I thought the COMEDY part was a little lacking. I suppose there was plenty of dry British humour..a "B" movie with a "C+" rating.)
20. Favorite Day of the Year: Samhain..I think.
21. Are you shy? Yep, It usually takes me a while to warm up to folks..I'd have to be in-sane to post something like this to a PUBLIC discussion list..
22. Summer or Winter: Summer..with less rain..used to LOVE winter when winter = "sledding" + "cocoa" but NOW winter = "shovel snow" + "back problems".
23. Hugs or Kisses?: Hugs..never been big on kisses..at least not on the lips..
24. Chocolate or Vanilla: Twist..depends on mood
25. Do you want your friends to write back: I do get irritated with the "black hole of Email", especially if I specifically ask for feedback..
26. Who is least likely to respond: That person with the dead Email address..you KNOW who you are..
27. Living Arrangements: I'm tolerated by my cat, and friendly with children and most small domestic animals..can't say more until the statute of limitations is up..
28. What books are you reading: The Gender Knot (if I can ever get a copy from Amazon)
Serious reading = "The Gnostic Gospels", "Seat of the Soul", "The Way of Akido", "Walk in Balance", "Opening to Channel", "The Gospel According to Jesus", "What Would Buddha Do?"
For pleasure = "DaVinci Code", Anything from the Discworld series by Terry Pratchett.. , Hitchhiker's guide, John Saul stories..
29. What's on your mouse pad:
I own an optical mouse that does not require a mouse pad. However, I have received a Moose-shaped mouse pad from my parents when they returned from Maine.
Unfortunately, the Moose-shaped mouse pad messes up my "system" because it doesn't fit right on the keyboard tray..I still use it anyway because it was a gift.
30. What did you do last night:
Wrote a post to continue fictional role as Chief Counselor on the USS Tsunami - in a gothic horror Star Trek "Role-Playing game by Email".
31. Favorite smell?
Coffee..love the vapor, hate the liquid..
The jar candles at that fancy candle place in the mall..although I won't buy one because I already have so many candles in the house I don't need to spend $25 on another one. Like Patchoulli, Sandalwood, Jasmine, Rose, Eucalyptus, Cinnamon, Mint..
32. Can you touch your nose with your tongue? Wouldn't YOU like to know?
33. What inspires you? Great Spirits throughout history (Jesus, Ghandi, Martin Luther King Jr) ..natural beauty..poetry..music..simple acts of kindness.. Sometimes motivated also by acts of injustice perpetrated by others..
34. Favorite Flower:
Those tropical things at Warren's house with the pink pointy blossoms that you can cut your skin on.
35. What is the first thing you think of when you wake up in the morning:
OK, OK I heard you the first time..get out of my head.
36. How trustful are you of people?
If it is possible to be both introverted and naively trusting at the same time you're probably describing me.
37. First Kiss?
With my grade school girlfriend..with tounge..eecck..nothing against her but I think it may have set a precedent for me not liking open mouthed kisses very much. I adopted a cute lil' Scotty fetus from Fetusmart! Hooray fetus!
