It does mean That I know what I believe and although I may change my mind in individual cases, I will never abandon my core beliefs.I think that most people rarely think, rarely examine, and rarely look beyond their own meager self interest. When I find those rare individuals, I do my best to make of them a Friend. Those who know me, know that I am loyal to the exteame, If you are my friend, all that I have is there to support you in what ever you do, in what ever way I can help. Be it financial, emotional, physical, I will support with all that I have.Those who know and love me, also know that if you betray me or my family, I will write you off as quickly as I have made you my friend. I have never been able to suffer arrogant fools, vapid self-interest, or self indulgent pity. I will always tell you the truth as I see it. No matter how painful it might be. I do so in the hopes that I will always get the painful truth reflected back to me.Especially if I am acting like an Arrogant Fool, swallowed up in vapid self-interest whilst wallowing in self-indulgent pity. ( That is why Teresa and I have such a great relationship. She allways shines the light of truth on my errant ways. especially when I am acting in the main things I detest so much in other people).I believe that Government costs too much, does too little, and acts only in the interest of the person with the loudest megaphone.That is not to say that the Government should do more. It should do far less. At a much cheaper price tag. The most important of which is, Leave me the Hell alone and let me do what I think is best. It is said that those who can, do Those who can't do,Teach. Those who Can't Do and Can't Teach, Become Politicians.
Justice is Blind, by choice, She is made Deaf and Dumb by the special interests that keep her bound and gagged with the paper of lawyers, like a Bad Bondage Flick on some perverse website.
I welcome the day when we return to rugged Individualism. When people helped their neighbors because they wanted to, not because the Government steals the money from their hard earned paycheck and gives it to those unwilling to work for their livelyhood.This I believe
