Hey. My name's Lina, better known as "Bashful", as I'm pretty shy until I get to know someone. My close friends are THE best friends in the world. And whether we live close, or far apart, they're always there for me when I need them.I'm a drummer, having the versatility to play tenor, bass, and snare (in that order...LOL!) I've been involved with pipe bands for six years - I started as a snare drummer then took up tenor and have progressed to the professional level in three years. This past summer I played bass in competition for the first time and it went very well.I'm also an avid "horse person." I've been riding since I was 6 and haven't had the pleasure of having my own horse yet. I took the Ontario Horse Groom Apprenticeship program and have been working to earning all my apprenticeship hours, riding and caring for horses, as well as assisting a professional in the development and training of young horses.I also began Highland dancing when I was 4, but eventually gave it up, although I still have a passion for it. I also did ballet, tap and jazz, with my interest leaning towards classical ballet, before other commitments forced me to temporarily leave dancing.I'm also an artist, mostly doing pencil portraits. I'm a writer and am developing several ideas for novels - my first novel, which has taken eight years to finish, now has a first draft completed and is awaiting editing.I'm very music-oriented, since music is such a major part of my life and without it, I would have nothing. Aside from being a pipe band drummer, I also play the flute (which I began in high school), piano (which I started in elementary school), drum set (which I began playing in 2002) and sing for fun, although I'm not the greatest.
