Olen Franklin was born January 6th, 1981 in Milwaukee, Wi. At an
early age he picked up the passion for music. By the age of ten, Olen
was playing in a band. Olen won many junior drum competitions and by
age thirteen had recorded his first studio session with a local gospel
group out of Milwaukee. This was just the first of many to come for
Olen. Over the years he has developed many styles of music and
drumming. By high school, Olen was the main drummer in the
All-City Jazz Band. Olen won all solo competition during his four
years in high school.Olen studied at UW-Platteville and was known
throughout the Midwest for his drum skills.Olen has shared the
stage and performed with some of the hottest R&B and Gospel
artists.Olen is currently playing with R&B and Gospel
in the Midwest. He has recently teamed with
the Terry Sims Band one of the hottest
in the Midwest. Success is pushing
him forward in his music career.
