Photographer of the Month: Laura Patten EVERY TATTOO HAS AN ARTIST: PHOTO ESSAY by RONETTE ESQUEDAWhen people see tattoos they usually ask about the story behind the ink--why they got that, whats significant about it etc. but rarely are they asked about the artist behind them.These photos are a tribute to the artist at Humble Beginings Tattoo Studio in San Jose-Orly, Cory, Toby, Swyre, Sefa, & Blake. Their passion for art combined with attention to detail transformed the place located above starbucks on meridian and san carlos streets into a place for comunity and expression.These photos where taken by Ronette Esqueda, a participant in DeBug's Summer Media Academy, and one of DeBug's newest photographers and family members. Beneath her fiesty surface is a talented young woman, very observant about the world, and who has found a new love in photography.Be on the lookout for her photos!!!
