What's up? My name is Laurie... and I am all about... I am a high school youth leader at [www.go2faith.com] we have an group of kids there... I try my best each and every day to live passionately, love unconditionally and to create beauty!I have an eye for bright and colorful things! It gives me peace and makes my heart happy. I enjoy bringing the beauty out in others and loving them just as they are and meeting them where they are at. I believe that beauty does NOT consist of makeup, designer clothes and plastic surgery [although makeup & clothes are fun to have]... there is beauty in every single person on this earth, it's just the amount of beauty they hold inside. I believe that many people can't find their beauty, they have lost it somewhere along the curvy road of life that they live. Beauty is in EVERYTHING, for God created everything and everything was Good! It is what we choose to do with the good that turns things bad! God created me as an artistic being, he gave me a passion for Art, Music and Creativity. I try and use his gifts everyday. God created me with a heart bigger than life, to love people and encourage them. God gave me GRACE when I made horrible choices in my life and has enabled me to use them for the good of his kingdom. To reach, seek and save the lost and to show just a fraction of the Love he has to give.Another passion of mine is my family

Heroes:

My lovely mother SEPT. 1952 - OCT. 2004 A short 52 years on earth Diagnosed with complete kidney failure at the young age of 36, she always kept a bright cheery smile through all her pain. She chose to fight for her life even when luck was not on her side. She suffered heart attacks, broken bones, hair loss, bone loss, reactions to medications,hours apon hours of dialysis, excessive weight gain & weight loss, days when she could not get out of bed, but she chose to fight the good fight to carry on in all her agony. She hardly ever let it show. She loved unconditionally, she gave her time and love to our family and often sacrificed herself for others. Her love could be felt with a simple touch of her hand or the way she would smile. You could tell that her family was her life. She had a heart to help others, often helping strangers [against her families better judgement] and had courage beyond any other. Everyone who ever came in contact with her fell in love with her. She is a true hero in my book and I can not wait to see her beautiful glowing face again when I get to heaven.
