About Me

The members of eight falls are all from the Olney area of the City of Filth. They came together in the Summer of 2005 (August, the 8th month, incidentally).

Originally, the band was called Cause and Effect; however, upon careful scrutiny of a massive google search which demonstrated that the original name was already in use by a myriad of other groups and organizations, musical or otherwise, it was decided that another name should be given to the band. So as a last resort--after a collective two-week deadline to find the most simultaneously original and generic name available--it was decided that the band would play under the name "eight falls," some reference (duh) to the infinity symbol.
