About Me

Born 23rd July, 1989 in the little city Zeulenroda next to Gera, which is in the middle of Germany. My parents and I, we moved to Versmold when i was 7 years old. I went to the musicial early education at the age of 5 years. There I started to play the flute and the xylophone. I was 6 years old when i began to learn the violin and to get a musicial ground education. At the age of 7 I performed on stage for the first time. After 7 1/2 years of playing the violin I stopped playing the violin at the age of 13. I took a break from music of one year. After that I began to play the guitar at the age of 14 and I also started up a band project with two other classmates. After 6 months having taught myself the guitar I got my first guitar teacher called "Jürgen Schmidt" who was a really experienced classical guitarist. He taught me the important ground steps on the guitar like alternate picking, chords or finger picking. In addition i got to know different music-genres like latin, blues, rock & jazz. Unfortunately, the band did not archieve their full popential due to the lack of cooperation from certain band members because we each had our own aims to accomplish. So I decided to leave the band at the age of 16 in 2006 and searched for musicians with the same enthusiasm as me. But I'm thankful for the good and constructive times in which i made social mistakes in the band. Soon after I got a new guitar teacher at the music school in Gütersloh called "Gregor Panic" who is in my opinion a guitar hero. He taught me all the proper techniques on the guitar, like sweeping, improvisation and a part of music theory. At the same time I joined the Christophorus Youth Chamber Choir Versmold and received my first singing lesson. Under the conduction of Mr. Hans-Ulrich Henning who is a crazy man but I admire him for the energie and passion he puts into his conducting. The Christophorus Youth Chamber Choir Versmold which was founded in 1979 is a really well-known choir in Germany. In April 2007 we took part in the Erwitte Choir Competition and won the second prize out of 16 choirs from around Germany. Soon after we were invited to the Aberdeen International Youth Festival: The World Festival of Youth Arts, Scotland and represented Germany. Up to now I have participated in around 40 concerts with the choir. Since August 2007 I have taken guitar lessons in a music school called Rockworkx by "Dieter Schäfer" who is a very good base man. He was educated by Guys like Jimmy Haslip, Jerry Watts etc... After 5 months of self-taught piano I got my first piano teacher called "Thomas Bracht" who is an incredible piano player & composer. He is a very philosophic man and he pushes me to my full potencial. He shows me the secrets of composition, music theory and of course the piano. In addition I found a composition class at our music school directed by Thomas Bracht. There I learn about composing for a whole orchestra etc. Since June 2007 my new band became complete. We are still in our early days but we are made up of some really talented musicians and a singer who has a beautiful voice. I found few really good friends. But i stopped getting guitar lessons, because my devotion changed more in direction to classical and specially to film music. So now I think that my passion is music for films. I am so fascinated of some pieces and I am really interessted in combining music with films. I hope there is my future. I try to get to 'Berklee College of Music' because there they have an own section for 'film scoring'. In addition I have got Information of the UCLA and USC in CA, Los Angeles right now. That are very high goals and the rivalry doesn't sleep. So I'm working on my skills all the time and do everthing which is possible to archieve my goals. So check out my stuff and let me know if you enjoy it! Feel free to contact me!
