Isn't it amazing, when asked to sum up yourself or an individual in an arrangement of words, it suddenly becomes alot harder than you think. What do you really want to know? How many of you have sat at your computer and asked yourself what do i really want to write here? What do i want people to know about me? Well, here is my attempt at just one of the thousands of biographys you will probabbly read on myspace. Heck, it might be fun :) Lets see...
My Name is Richard Morris and Welcome to my site.
I'm 16 and i'm currently in the middle of recording my first album "Await the Sunset". I am unsigned, and all the songs you hear on this profile today were recorded and mastered by Paul Morris. Known to me as Dad :)
I started playing the guitar 8 years ago now and to be honest, i have never once doubted playing or "had a break" from it. Music has always been a huge part of my life and i would be lost without it. I picked up other instruments along the way,drums,bass ect...sure they have helped so much in writing, but my guitar has never been out of sight. It is my release. At first writing songs was just a muck around and an occasional melody in my room, I never even dreamt that it would go this far. I started taking songwriting seriously about three years ago and as i became more confident with my voice, i decided it was time to share them with you guys :) So, smile it's a good day!
None of this would be possible without my dad and i would just like to send him a massive thankyou for everything he has done for me over these past few years. We are yet to get him a lovely longboard,but this summer...fingers crossed!! Also, my mum. This beautiful being constantly puts up with all the noise without fuss and always works her ass off to keep a roof over my head. Whilst always keeping my belly full and being my rock in life, she's also a great person to have messy fights with :)A much deserved thankyou to everyone that has ever supported me in my music, including you! Without you reading this, it would be worthless having these songs up here. I hope you enjoy them as much as i did writing them. Finally, a big thankyou to all my friends and family, you all mean the world to me and i could ask for nothing more.Godbless you allx
