One of Sweden’s newest and hottest music exports, Christian Lindberg, was raised on a small island outside Gothenburg, Sweden.
Influenced by his father, who is a Jazz fanatic, he studied music since he was a young kid. Having tried a number of instruments, Christian found that drums were his first love, and became the drummer in a variety of bands.
At the same time, Christian started experimenting on the decks, building
his collection of disco and funk vinyl. It wasn’t long until he had decided to leave the live music scene and make his way into music production and songwriting.
Recognized for his creativity and ingenuity, Christian Lindberg was signed by Sony ATV in 2006 as songwriter and producer. Through his work with Sony, he has collaborated with a range of high-profile writers and international artists.
Looking for a fresh sound, Lindberg has combined his multi-instrumental talents with his knowledge of rare groove and disco to create a new breed of house music.
His newest collaboration is with British DJ and producer Tom Neville.
Their upcoming record will be released this year.
