Founded by Liam Greenhorn and Kevin Wickham in 2002/2003 Yahoo Serious as they were to be known, had already created a unique sound on a bottom of the range 4 track in their rented accommodation. In 2003 they recruited the drumming talents of Blair Honeyman and the formidable bass prowess of Ritchie Cramb. Known to friends and fans as Beanz, Wick, Stan and Ritchie. YS have their own unique Indie/Rock sound echoing of influences, The Beatles, U2, The Stone Roses, Big Country and The Smiths. Plenty of private performances of Greenhorn & Wickham's material brought much positive feedback and the band started gigging. Tower House in November 2003 got the first taste of Yahoo mania and many gigs have steadily came their way ever since. Recent gigs have seen the band play venues such as The Barfly and Vertigo in Glasgow, shows in Edinburgh and around Fife. The band got 'Yahoo Serious' and began work on demo For Your Consideration Part I, recording three tracks with the help of ACR in 2004. Track 'Dead People Say Things' played by Jim Gellatly in April 2005 on the famous Beatscene show was a real buzz for YS. Going on later that year to film a live performance for DVD, at the eXchange in Edinburgh and at the same time gaining valuable experience in front of the cameras, YS completed their debut E.P. ''Explosions'' and are very pleased with the results. Gigs at The Cavern in Liverpool last year and prizes for best band at The Rockers, Glasgow have gave the band a kick on. Stans departure in January set the band off course but they will make it to the big time this year. BE ON THE BAND WAGON BEFORE IT LEAVES DUNFERMLINE!
