About Me

--since 2000, a webmagazine for poetry of the alternative vortex -- founded by NY poet george wallace it originally was designed to bring the work of emerging 'next generation' poets from new york and san francisco to the internet literary community -- and to serve as a platform for the 2001 'jack kerouac big sur marathon reading' organized for northport ny, san francisco ca, orlando florida and lowell massachusetts -- the first issue to feature poetry included work by jj blickstein, neeli cherkovski, lenny dellarocca, robert plath, lawrence carradini, bill costley, gary lawless, steve dalachinsky and jessica loos -- and articles by sa griffin, philip cousineau and others -- since then, four more issues have appeared, with work by robert orlandi, rebecca lu kiernan, charlie newman, susan marie lavallee, antler, phibby venable, george sparling, aleksey dayen, john dorsey, garland thompson jr, duane esposito, rochelle ratner, ad winans, john g hall, ian wilder, donald lev, kirpal gordon, jack foley, angelo verga, amy ouzoonian, eero ruuttila, urayoan noel and alan semerdjian -- current issue: tom tuttle, shiv mirabito, nicole henares, linda cleary, les merton, tatiana zima, christine timm, jim d deuchars and wild bill taylor --
