Shine Bright Baby [NEW EP ON iTUNES NOW!]

“We never planned on any of this,”
says front woman Emily about being in an upcoming band. But when a person is born for a purpose, whether you are looking for it or not,
it finds you.
That is the case for new alternative band, Shine Bright Baby formed in late 2007. Within the first three months of meeting each other they crafted together a 6 song demo (Brace Yourself EP). Now, only one year later the curtain is rising and stage is set for these five unlikely individuals to answer to their calling. Since day one, Shine Bright Baby has not wasted any time or opportunity to make music that explodes onstage with energy and passion.
The transformation is never-ending. Though now graced with a solid line up, their music continues to mature and develop. With their youngest being only 15, Shine Bright Baby is relevant, relatable and ready for action. The month of May brought their much anticipated release of a new 5 song ep, including their new single “We Were Made To”. This newest release, "The Heart and Its Hope" has undoubtedly unveiled the depth and range of their talents for eager ears worldwide.

It's been too long since I've used this little box! Alot of amazing things have happened since then like...we made it into ALIVE FESTIVAL! We released our newest ep "The Heart and Its Hope" and we have a giant list of shows for you all to see us! Thank you to everyone who preordered the new cd and everyone who came out to the shows and got the cd! Release shows were wonderful. So what do you guys think of that new song?? Very soon we will be putting up a sampler track for the new ep along with tracklisting/artwork the whole nine yards! Just wanted to remind everyone that all booking requests need to be sent to [email protected]. Also we are trying to play at Alive Festival this year but we need everyone to vote everyday! It would be a dream to play at our local music festival. Man oh mighty i am so excited to release this new music! Catch ya soon!

Update 3/21/09
Busy time for SBB! Finished up recording the new EP at Random Awesome Studio this past weekend. Put up some videos that cover the time we spent there.
We decided to take a trip to Nashville, so we hung out today with our manager Jesse Nemitz at the Singing Success Studio! Coolest thing ever! we will keep you posted in a blog about everything that's been happening. Look for a new song to be posted SUNDAY MARCH 29th (:

I hope so otherwise, you must be living in a cave. So instead of being repetition with all the updates I decided to make a list of NEWNESS.

SBB has been pretty video happy lately! In addition to our "We Were Made To" video our footage from Alive Festival with Singing Success this past summer FINALLY made it onto YouTube this last week. Ah, good memories. We are excited to be bring you new promo pics (new image...and new member...??), a new layout, more live videos AND (like it couldn't get any better!) and info about our upcoming release!!! 2009?! Wow, it's going to be a busy year for us. We just posted a music video to our new song "We Were Made To". It was shot at Wired on New Year's Eve, if you were there you may see yourself :) We have been working on some new tunes when the snow lets us. Gonna be doing more blogging, especially when we go to the studio in feb and march. SBB would proudly like to announce our new manager Jesse Nemitz, you may recognize him from Singing Success and we can't wait for what's going to be happening next!!

Update 12/19/08
It's 12:12 am so i guess that makes it the next day. Today we are going one of our friend's studio to record some acoustic goodies for everyone. Finals finished up last week and we have been working on a lot of new stuff. I can't wait for you guys to hear it! We decided to take some time off from live shows to write and so far we got a great start! Creative juices are flowing! Christmas is so close its scary but i love this time of year. Watch our page on Dec 20th (technically tomorrow!) for a holiday song we will be putting up for download. It will only be up for a short time but its our gift to you, our amazing fans!
We have posted our NEWEST song, the first song we recorded since we put our our ep last spring and we are proud of the way we've progressed and hope everyone loves it!

Update 12/3/08
Thanks to everyone who came out to the show sunday at our home church! It was a blast. Thanksgiving was cool, finals are not. Noah is cool too and the game little big planet is really amazing. Nathan is now 20..whoa he's the old man of the crew.

This Weekend we 1. Won The Wayne College Talent Show 2. Had a great time playing at The Grange 3. Nelson bought a new video game and beat it in a week ;)
