The Osiris project was born when I was still at school, in 1995, just for fun.
There was a sort of “rivalry†between me and my dear schoolmate and friend Quaro .
When he “released†his first demo-tape for his one-man-band Babylon, I “founded†Osiris and the first work was the demo-tape “The beginning of a new ageâ€, recorded in December 1995 with a very poor equipment. It’s a very rough demo-tape, both for lyrics and music, but they’ve been the very first songs I wrote and you couldn’t expect more! Ah ah…
We even released an issue of a very rough “fanzineâ€, Covenant, where I interviewed Quaro and reviewed his demo-tape and Quaro interviewed me and reviewed my demo-tape. The second issue, unfortunately, has remained incomplete. This was only a joke, but it’s been funny!...You can take a look in the “Covenant photo albumâ€.
After the second Babylon demo-tape, I released “Zyweso wekato keoso……†(recorded in August 1996), which is more elaborated and even nowadays, when I listen to these songs, I get some satisfaction. Indeed, there are all the black metal clichés, but also some interesting “folk†parts.
Obviously, our demo-tapes have been released in unique copies! Ah ah…
Anyway, after our second releases, Quaro and I decided to unite our projects and to join our efforts...and then Worthless was born.
I hope you enjoy these songs, even in their roughness!
