The Trutones (Part II)

About Me

We were a band. Then we broke up. Then we got back together.
For booking information, either get a hold of Sid here, on his personal page, or [email protected]. He checks them often, and replies quickly.Check this out: The Skank Team ... yeah its awesomeFirst off I realized that this is some lo-fi stuff. Maybe someone in the band has some recording equipment and a couple of mics and they were like "my parents arent home till 6 lets record the demo." Thats how i imagined it. The lo-fi quality of the vocals stands out in a really awsome way and there is definately personallity behind it. The guitars are muddy, really catchy, and occasionally out of key. The bass is buried but if you try real hard you can hear its pretty dancy. The drums are skilled, right on, and carry the demo. I can tell that behind this band there is an untapped dam of potential and with practice and some refinment the Trutones could make some very very cool recordings. I want to see these guys live now because i bet they put on a good show. -Evan Williamson: Whats Up! Magazine Jan 07

The Wild Buffalo - Trutones with the Aggrolites

Suffice to say, I was a wee bit nervous. And that is a major understatement. This was the first show that I've legitimately been sick before hand in years. We tried to get on stage a couple times befo...

A Night In The Park

So while this wasn't as strange as Seattle was, it definitely had its moments. We played after a really jammy funk band, and a really really jammy dub reggae band. Not exactly my cup of tea, but they ...
