About Me

Shallos is the name I used for recording songs and musical experiments that were just for my enjoyment. Sometimes I would write something that I could use in whatever band I was in at the time, but more often it was just for fun. Shallos is just shallows with the 'w' dropped in a cutesy way. I guess I was thinking of a name for rough drafts, something that just scratched the surface rather than a polished product. Now my focus for shallos has turned into a mostly acoustic singer/songwriter type thing. The aim of my first CD was to create a sort of punk/acoustic album. I drew on older songs I had written that in punk and alternative bands that lended themselves nicely on an acoustic guitar.
I finally released my second CD "The Autumn Leaf" songs of woe, the past and possibly fake appendages... Contact for details. I actually have a live band now, a drummer (steve from birthday pony) and now a cellist (his awesome s.o.). Hopefully that will work into something better than a single guy hobbling away songs in his basement...
Other projects:
Birthday Pony
Fiery Fire R.I.P. .
