I love singing and performing. I like to karaoke and dance. I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I enjoy exercise, swimming, and roller skating. I love to shop, watch movies, and dine out.
Here's the slideshow of my baby girl Lydia Cristiana. I really can't wait to give birth to her in December. The feelings we felt when we first saw her during the ultrasound was heart warming. She was so cute and she kept moving her little hands up to her ears. Then we would see her opening and closing her mouth as if she were singing or talking. I told Hector she's gonna be a singer like her mama. lol A good pic was also taken of her diaphragm; I was like wow there goes another sign. hehe We didn't get a copy of that pic though. In my early years I loved to listen to: Laura Branigan, Madonna, Expose, Cover Girls, Prince, Barry Manilow, Cyndi Lauper, Gloria Estefan, The Jets, Freddy Jackson, Phil Collins, Heart, Stacey Lattisaw, Donna Summer, Richard Marx, Huey Lewis and The News, The Pointer Sisters, Whitney Houston, and Chicago, just to name a few. I still like the 80's music a lot.
When I got saved and started singing in church there wasn't a lot of hip hop, pop, or r&b artists back then. I remember there was like Sandi Patty, Larnelle Harris, Amy Grant, The Winans, Degarmo and Key, Rich Mullins, D-Boy, and DC Talk. LOL Nowadays, I love to listen and sing to Crystal Lewis, Jaci Velasquez, CeCe and BeBe Winans, Selena, Sandi Patty, Rachael Lampa, Rebecca St. James, Angelo and Veronica, Bryan Duncan, Yolanda Adams, Kirk Franklin, Donnie Mcklurkin, Tammy Trent, The Katinas, Israel, Salvador, Avalon, Sandra Payne, Luther Vandross, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, and T-Bone...although I can't sing to his rhymes. LOL I know I am missing lots... ....>
Movies:
Definitely, "Passion of the Christ", "A Walk to Remember", "Selena", " Chronicles of Narnia", and "Diary of a Mad Black Woman"!!! I love to watch horror flicks and romantic comedies.
Television:
I enjoy watching Christian programming,700 Club and Today With Marilyn and Sarah.
I also love to watch "How Do I Look"?
Books:
The Holy Bible of course. Doesn't really matter the version: NIV, KJV,NKJV etc. I love to study it, and try my best to serve God faithfully.
Heroes:
The Hero of Heroes, the Lord of Lords, and King of Kings, JESUS!!!
My parents...I may not have always gotten along with my mom and even once in a bluemoon my dad; nevertheless, they have always been there for me when I was having a crisis/during my most trying times.
