About Me

First of all I'm up front, brutally honest, blunt and to the point about things. If I like you, I'll do anything for you. If I don't, you can basically go fuck yourself. I put my family first in everything because family is all you have in this world. Always trust your family. Friends are cool and I love all of my friends but folks...family is where it's at. And I love my family...even Chris. [LOL] I'm protective of my kids...and my stepkids. Mess with my family or any of my kids and prepare yourself for some major colon stompage. Capiche? Anyway, I've been playing music all my life. I got my first guitar when I was seven years old. I haven't stopped since. When I was eight I sang my first song in church and I've been going ever since. Unlike some of these dumbasses out here who refer to themselves in third person or as "artists," I happen to be a tad bit more realistic and grounded. I've done alot of playing music over the years. I've seen alot of things I didn't really want to see. I've done alot of things I shouldn't have done. Most of my life has been spent traveling down a dark road and I'll tell you straight, because I'm not ashamed and I don't lie about it. The way I see it, a pussy makes excuses. A man makes mistakes and fixes them. I was a pussy until I met my wife. I've had problems with alcohol in my past. I've had issues with drug abuse and pills. Back in 2005, my best friend died and I let that become my latest excuse for getting drunk every night. My drinking got really bad. Painkillers? Worse than ever! I know you've probably heard this story a million times in your life. Used to drink, found the Lord, etc. It is pretty cliche' bullshit. But a few years ago I met my wife Gina and she helped me get my life straightened out. She loved me unconditionally. She saved my life. She's still saving my life every single day. After that it was like everything in my life just changed. I put the whiskey down...for good. I'm the occasional drinker now. I'm a better man since Gina came into my life. It didn't take me long to go buy a ring ask her what she was doing for the next forty or fifty years. On May 19th 2007, I married her. And I have no regrets. She's the best woman I've ever known besides my mother. These days I no longer fantasize about being the next big country music star. I consider myself to be way too old to pursue that dream. I do, however, write. I hope to someday do something with that talent. Besides, as long as there's a bar or a honkytonk somewhere I'll always have a place to play. And I'll always enjoy the hell out of it. Period. Hope this was informing. Guitar MySpace Layouts - Gibson Guitar MySpace Layouts Guitar MySpace Layouts

My Interests

Music:

Band Members: There used to be a band called Hard Tymes. It was the best time of my life...something that is gone now and I can never have again. The one time in my life I played in a band where everybody just wanted to have a good time. Did we have problems? Yes. Did we fight? Yes. Were we perfect? Hell no. All I can say is this...I miss those days. And I miss two of the original members of that band. Both are gone from my life and this world, but never forgotten.Tony Begley 1960-2005Mike Brewer 1970-2007This section of my page is dedicated to them and the friendship we had. Keep on rocking guys...wherever you are. I love you both!

It’s A Sad World We Live In

I'm a little heartbroken about the Caylee Anthony thing. I hate to be the one to tell all of you this, even though you all pretty much know it in the back of your minds. That body they found last wee...

A Red Book Full Of Memories

I remember when I was a kid. I couldn't wait for Christmas to come around. Not just because I knew I was going to get toys as long as I was good, which is bullshit,  because I was always bad...
