About Me

Very Cool People is a groove-jazz, fusion and jazz-funk quartet originated in Riga, Latvia by guitarist Elvijs Grafcovs. With a backbone in jazz and funk, incorporating influences from rock and hip hop, Very Cool People is creating modern, complicate and listenable music for wide audience. The band with contemporary tools is trying to put jazz back to dancefloor and make it more accessible to ordinary, nowadays persons.

Very Cool People es un cuarteto groove-jazz, fusión y jazz-funk creado en Riga (Letonia) por el guitarrista Elvijs Grafcovs. Teniendo el jazz y el funk como columna vertebral e incorporando influencias del rock y del hip hop, Very Cool People crea música moderna dirigida a un amplio público. El grupo, con herramientas contemporáneas, intenta devolver el jazz a la pista de baile y hacerlo más accesible pa el común de los mortales.
