HHumanlink is a joint project between Hivos and Humanitas.
Starting in 2007, HHumanlink aims to involve 15,000 Humanitas volunteers in the work of Hivos partner organisations which are active in similar areas,
such as the fight against Aids.
HHumanlink wants to create a dialogue between young people in the North (the Netherlands) and South (Africa) about the role they play in community development related to important health choices.

Oruga
Ntjamrosie

Ntjamrosie was born in the south of Cameroon and moved to Maastricht in The Netherlands at the age of 9. As a young girl she came in contact with music through church music and traditional Cameroon storytelling (which incorporates singing and music). Soon she developed a big passion for the arts, whether it´s film, music or paintings. When she was 14 years old Ntjamrosie started to write in Dutch. Later on she translated her poems and started to compose melodies on them. At that time she was influenced by Soul music and R&B and was singing with her girlfriends for fun. She took a few singing lessons but she never aspired to become a professional singer.

K-PAG (www.kenyaarts.com)
Kenya Performing Arts Group (K-PAG) was founded by Odak Onyango and Saskia Ottenhoff in September 2003. It is registered with the department of Culture in the ministry of Gender, Sports, Culture and Social services. Dance in Kenya, as an academic and theatrical category, has a very short history. K-PAG started from the idea that Kenyan artists deserve better in terms of competition, quality work, professionalism and exposure which can be achieved through training. Educational aspects become part and parcel of our programs in enhancing the understanding of “our state of artsâ€. In this case we speak about the Performing Arts, theatre in which it is about family and society. We want theatre to be in this country where it was born for- to reaffirm where we are as human beings in our environment.
