About Me

Hi, I'm Phil Stafford. I'm a an indie-folk-pop singer-songwriter. I currently perform:

1) Phil Stafford material, live at open mics in the Tampa Area. Songs like "Trapped in the Mirror" which you can hear on this page.

2) funfolk (Matt & Phil's Band) material, also at open mics. I usually play this material solo. Matt and I have only performed together once.

3) On Drums! with Signals from Satelites , an indie rock band. Check their myspace for details. Some of you who know me by my singing don't know I started as a drummer at age 9.

I'm in my 30's; play drums, sing, write songs on guitar. I co-write with my friend Matt and also write original solo material. I'm into music, web-development (my day job), hiking, kayaking, music, movies, hanging out.

Note: Despite the numerous CCM artists in my list of "influences", I no longer consider myself a Christian. I am not a Christian artist. I still place an importance on spirituality, but it is not the focus of my music.
