Sim'ran:Krystle Nunnely, Imgracia Nunnely & Lysa Schenkers Are the 3 members of the sensational new R&B/Pop group 'SIM'RAN'. These 3 girls are all born in Paramaribo, Suriname. Both families moved the girls to Holland (Amsterdam) at a very young age, where all 3 girls grew up and became friends in highschool.Birth of Sim’ran:Sim’ran is an Indian translation for “ Gods Gift †or “ Gift from Godâ€Krystle, Imgracia and Lysa along with ex-group member Symone (group former named Specious) have been very good friends for years and they’ve been singing together for fun eversince they were 11 years old. As the girls got older they decided to seriously start working on their music carriers. They signed up for a talent show at their church and starting from that day their first conquest was a fact! Over the years Specious performed at a lot of places in a lot of cities all over Holland. The girls did some opening acts for both national and international acts/artists like ‘Brace’ , (Known Hitsongs: ‘ Hartendief ’, ‘Moppie’, ‘Dilemma’ and many more) along with rapper Perry Mystique Specious opened shows for well known R&B singers Horace Brown and Montell Jordan.In the year 2006 Specious was asked to audition for a major talentshow called ‘Talentnight’. Specious was selected to participate in the contest, got trough the first half finals, then reached the finals but unfortunately did not win the first price. After the whole talentnight experience group member Symone decided to quit the group and fully focus on her studies. As painfull as the news was for the 3 other girls (Lysa, Imgracia and Krystle), they still decided to keep the group alive under a new name. They searched all over the internet for an unique name that would fit them perfectly! And they found it. Juli 2007 was the month that Lysa, Krystle and Imgracia were fully inspired to proceed as a fresh new group of 3. And Sim’ran was born!Sim’ran’s Music:Sim’ran mainly sings selfwritten songs. Their sound is a mix of R&B/Pop/HipHop/Soul. Sim’ran has worked with several producers such as : Q.S.S, Joveek, QD, Schroom and some others. By working with different producers Sim’ran is trying to create a different mixed sound for every song they record. These girls are also absolutely no strangers in the Dutch Gospelscene.
