*********First off, I just want to tell those who don't know me that I am a SONGWRITER/ singer. I'm pretty content knowing that I'm not the greatest vocalist in the world, but I make due. I just love to make music and believe that I'm good at it. I want people to dance, or laugh, or sing, or cry along with my music. I want people to relate to it and know how it feels to go through what I've gone through. ALL of my songs are true from the heart and experiences that's I've gone through, so I'm opening up in a way. But overall, it's all about GOOD MUSIC and DAMN GOOD LYRICS!!! Hope you all enjoy***************Ok, I've been puting off this part of my page like a dead beat dad. I just never came around to take care of it. lol. That was my small attempt at being funny. But, where do I start.....well, I grew up in Minnesota. I'm a songwriter/singer. I've been to school for Music Business/Production?Marketing.....so I'd say that I'd know what I was talking about with the best of them, when it comes to music. This is my life, passion, dream, job, hobby, and all things in between. I'm very musically inclined, which I don't show off enough....fear of people thinking that I own the "E" word (ego for the slow ones).I'm actually part of a writing team/r&b group, called "LyriQ". We've been around for a couple years now, trying to get established. It's hard when you have 3-4 people in a group, who are all talented and brings a unique flavor to the mix....but.....we all have outside lives that keep us from moving forward in the pace that we'd like. Life happens!....is the best way to say it. But we're all driven and ambitious and feed off of and motivate each other. It's been a rough road and a lot of struggle in the past, but I know that with these guys in my corner, we can't lose. So many people tell us how tight we are, how hot our songs are, and especially our LYRICS (a thank ya). We've worked with and have been asked to work with many different artist. Even had offers for songs we've done. My snipits on my page are ROUGH WHATEVERS, just to scratch the surface and to give people a little something from asking to hear. Well, hear away!!!I know that my ultimate goal in the music world is to NOT necessarily to be all up in the camera and a top 40 artist (which If given the chance, I'm marketable enough to be such), but is to be the most sought after writer out. I've written many different styles and genres of music. With a HUGE lyrical mind, it's second nature to me. I would love to have the opportunity to write for many huge names and peopel I grew up listening to. That's my ultimate dream.Well, my hands cramping up, so that's it for now. But I will try to update my page as often as I can....with new insight on ME, my guys, songs, all if any events, contact info, more songs....the whole nine. Enjoy, and Stay Tuned!

Influences: It actually wasn't until about junior high school, when I caught onto different genres and eras of music. At that time I was just into what was on the radio. BUt as I got older, I learned to appreciate a lot of different artists, producers, writers, icons. My all time favorite artist is Michael Jackson....and no I don't care to be him like Chris Brown or Ne-Yo, but I grew up mostly on his music. He was my earliest memories of music....especially being a youngin going to my first concert, which was the LAST time Mike-Jack came to Minnesota....it was the Thriller concert. But now a days, being an artist, I like to study and pick apart from many artist(s). My favorite vocalist is Brian Mcknight. He actually inspired me to be a writer. I know every song, front to back, and have every cd. It's more my style of music. I know a lot of people call him corny, but he's seriously that deal. My female vocalist would be Mariah Carey (the old Mimi....not the new stuff). And other artists who influenced and continues to this day beacause their music is timeless, are: Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Al Green, The Temptations, Earth-Wind-And fire, Lionel Richie, Smokey Robinson, BoyzllMen, Dru Hill, 112, Jodeci, Blackstreet, Ginuwine, Usher, Ne-Yo, Sean Garrett, Brian Cox, Quincy Jones, Timbaland, Teddy Riley, and the king of r&b R.Kelly.I also have a musical guilty pleasure that you have to know me to realize........ask and I'll tell. lol
Sounds Like: I really don’t sound like anyone on my own music. But when I’m playing around or when I finally get professional vocal training, I’ve been told Brian Mcknight. I don’t try to be like him when I work on myself, I’d like to have my own sound (which I’m sure I do), but it would most likely be him if any. But I can also sound like many other artist when I’m playing around......think of it as a comdian doing impressions.
