Anyone who'd like to meet me. Right now I'm not feeling picky, just take a look at my interests and let me know if any of them sound like fun to you. They don't all have to match, but pick one you feel like doing with me, and let me know....
This includes, but is not limited to:
People who can shut up during good movies, and make fun of bad ones
People who can laugh at others, and themselves.
People who have good self esteem, but see room for improvement and are working towards that.
People without 10 year plans.
Folks who are perpetually ready for a weekend road trip to the beach (or for camping out).
Concertgoers who don't just check out bands that they already know.
People who are laid back enough that they can watch a high school football game or a little league game between two teams they have never seen before, and although they have no interest in who wins still have a great time.
People comfortable with biking around the city and not worrying if it messes up their hair or they sweat a little.
People who can see the irony in the underlying theme that Fight Club wasn't about fighting, it's about how quick and easy it is to convince other people to join a cult just because it feels right and people are sheep, and now there are 750 search results for the name "Tyler Durden" on myspace and that these people are sheep themselves.
People who don't mind being in the passenger seat of my car while I drive (I'm actually a very good driver, but try and see the metaphor there).
People who feel like emailing me once in a while, or all the time.
People who I can trust with my phone number, who know that they can call me anytime, even if it's 4 am and I've got work in the morning, as long as it's important enough to wake me up.
Anyone who I can laugh at Homestarrunner.com with.
People who are comfortable being seen talking to and helping someone who is less fortunate than them.
Big tippers.
People who thank the waitstaff, bellhops, flight attendants, cashiers, and secretaries with respect and a smile, not just noticing the name on the nametag, but making sure you're pronouncing it right.
Soccer players that don't care if they don't have the right clothes on, there's a ball in the room... Ole Ole!!!
Someone who wants to overcome his/her own fears.
People who enjoy both versions of my grilled cheese (I make a mean gourmet kind, and a speedy, greasy kind)
Someone who can watch media objectively, and not immediately jump to conclusions (i.e. "Kevin Costner's in it, it has to suck" when actually Field of Dreams is my favorite movie of all time, watch it again with an open mind).
Anyone who stays after a party to help clean up.
Designated Drivers.
Wingmen.
Anyone who gives great hugs.
Happy people, not perpetually happy, but those that are usually happy.
Great smiles.
Even better laughs.
People who will give up their seat on the bus/subway for someone else who may or may not need it more.
Open minded people.
Folks that like Waffle House.
Folks that like Dante's Down The Hatch
People that are just as comfortable in a Blockbuster as they are on a dance floor.
People who like their families, friends, and even Ex's, and can give compliments about them, regardless of conflict currently happening.
Anyone who thinks that Jimi Hendrix, Nirvana, and The Beatles are given too much credit, despite their obvious talent.
Anyone who can argue with me about the above at length, while keeping their temper and an open mind.
Anyone who wants to see my FIRST 15 minutes of fame (I have it on VHS).
People who like keeping in shape.
Girls who can do the splits
People who trust me to build the campfire.
People who trust me in general that I know what I'm doing.
Anyone who's up for a game of truth or dare
Anyone who will tell the story of their tattoos/body piercings
People who like drive in movies
People who help strangers
People who laugh at the idea of driving to a gym to get on an exercise bike
People who can correctly use they're, their, and there.
Someone who will eat my orange and lemon Starbursts
Storytellers
Anyone who gives high fives
People who understand that you can't rank the best songs or even groups. The Beatles are great and all, but not while I'm on a dance floor please. You have to rank them by "Best Songs to Work Out To" "Best Slow Dance Songs" "Best Songs to Drive Fast to".
People who have their lists for the above
People who look at what they have and smile, not what they don't and frown.
