I am here for Friends

About Me

My name is Cody. I was born in Greer, SC, on January 29, 1987, and I’ve lived in the same house my entire life.
I try to follow God, but suck at it, just like everyone else.
I currently attend North Greenville University. I’m a Print Media major with a concentration in journalism. I’m the sports editor for The Skyliner, the campus newspaper.
I play guitar and do background vocals in The Overtaking. Check us out.
I’m a tone freak in regards to guitar. I have way too much stuff and spend way too much money.
I’m straight-edge.
I’m NOT vegan-edge, or any crap like that. I like to eat meat, and I’m not afraid of caffeine because I’m not addicted to it.
I listen to a lot of music. See my music section for that.
I’m also a huge Atlanta Braves, Indianapolis Colts, and Clemson fan. I’ve also been known to watch three consecutive games with teams I care nothing about. Some call that being a fan.
I have a 40-gallon aquarium, and I enjoy my fishies.
Dogs hate me; my cat loves me.
I enjoy war and horror movies, but other movies will do, as long as they actually have a plot.
Philosophical things are fun. That means I like to think.
I’m very politically conservative and will out-logic you any day.
I will eventually piss you off, but I probably won’t care. I’m anti-censorship on just about every level. It’s not MY problem if YOU get offended.
I’m not emo, punk, or whatever label you want to throw at me. I’m a person that listens to the music he likes and dresses how he likes. It’s your job to get past the stereotypes.
I’m very cynical. If you really have to ask why, then you’re probably part of the reason.
I’m sarcastic and occasionally abrasive.
I have a twisted yet dorky sense of humor.
I’m close to my family. Mess with them and die.
I don’t have a large number of friends, but I’m ridiculously close to the ones I have. Mess with them and die.
I’m single. I don’t enjoy that fact, but I’m being patient with it. No, really, I am this time.
I hate hanging out with massive groups of people, especially if I don’t know most of them very well.
I’m very observant and notice weird details most people miss, like the fact that you’re still reading this. Get a hobby.
