About Me

Hey Im lauren. I'm laidback and relaxed most of the time. Im open-minded and I love to laugh because life is too short. I stand up for myself and I dont take people's shit...I'm kind of fiesty, in a good way. : )My mom and I are training to run a half marathon (13.1 miles)on June 1, 2008 in San Diego,CA while raising money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS). We train with & are part of a group called Team in Training.Team in Training is a nationwide effort to raise funds to help find the cure for blood diseases. My mom was diagnosed with Leukemia in 2004 and LLS has helped our family greatly. We're very blessed because she is now in remission but there are others that are not so lucky. The honoree for this year's Team in Training is a 6 year old boy named Isaac. His mother is an elementary teacher here in Mobile.
