Well, my name is Iris. I've lived in Sumter, SC all my life. I went to Furman HS for 3 years, but was in the first class to graduate from Lakewood HS (1997). Now, I'm a 27-yr-old mother of 2 beautiful girls. They are my pride and joy. I've never been married, but I've been with the father of my girls for 9-1/2 years now.
I was a student at CCTC, studying criminal justice, but I had to take a break after my grandmother passed. I was thinking of going back to complete my Associate's Degree in criminal justice but after finally landing a job in a gym setting, I want to see where this path leads me. I am loving the job. Not only am I learning more about fitness, I am also enjoying meeting new people and I've even been lucky to reconnect with some old friends. I will get certified as a personal trainer by June 2007.As for the kind of person I am...well usually I am a very friendly and outgoing person, but I may seem shy at first. I'm still best friends with the same person that was my best friend in the 7th grade, Angel, and I know we will continue our friendship on no matter what our futures hold. My newest, second best friend, is Melinda, of course. She is my faithful gym buddy, as we are both slaves to the gym 4-6 days a week. And I know I can count on her for motivation if I feel like I'm in a rut. But we have also become very close and I've got my girl's back. And I love my girl Michelle, too. She is now my ex-sister-in-law, but we are closer than my brother and I are, so she is still a very special person in my life.

Because of Myspace, I've reconnected with many old friends from school (HEY 10 YEAR REUNION THE WEEKEND OF JUNE 15TH) And I have made a few wonderful friends with people from school that I didn't get to really know back then.I have finally completed my Re-Invention Goal. I am now at 132.5 lbs!! In a little over 5 months, I have lost a total of 68-69 lbs!! A total of around 69 inches lost, overall!! I am very proud of myself and thankful for all the support I had in my journey. So bitches.....IRIS is back!!! I'm not aiming to lose anmymore weight. My new goal is to tone my stomache, butt and upper arms. Angel, Michelle, and I are taking a beach trip at the end of April and I plan on stepping into a 2 piece for the first time in like 6-7 years!!! I HAVE YAHOO MESSENGER.....MY ID IS STARROSEGREENWOOD.....HIT ME UP FOR A CHAT.
