Hey! My name is Howl Pendragon. My heart was eaten my a fire demon named Calcifer when I was a young boy. I am a wizard that lives in a moving castle that was run by Calcifer and created by me with my apprentice Markl. My castle has all these portals to different places, so
that I could escape when needed and keep my freedom. There was also this witch named The Witch of the Waste that was after my heart, so I needed to get as far away from her as I could. Since I did not have a heart of my own, I often ate the hearts of beautiful girls. I know that was wrong, but I was such a coward. I never had anything to protect until I ran into Sophie, an average teenage girl working in a hat shop. She found her life thrown into turmoil when she was literally swept off her feet by the handsome-but-mysterious wizard named Howl, me. ^_^ Subsequently she was turned into a 90-year old woman by the vain and conniving Wicked Witch of the Waste. While going on a huge journey to lift the curse, she finds refuge in my castle. Sophie's love and support cames to have a major impact on me, where I flew in the face of orders from the palace to become a pawn of war and instead I risked my life to help bring peace to the kingdom. Sophie broke the curse on Calcifer and me, on a scarecrow named Turnip-head, and on herself. Now, we are living together and having a great time.
