Lauren, age 14, has been singing since the tender age of two in church and community choirs. She started performing when she was in preschool and has been amazing audiences with her talents ever since.
She has studied dramatic arts, music, and choreography at the Riverside Dinner Theater and has performed in a variety of productions, talent shows, competitions and open mics.
Fall 2006, she won first place in the fredericksburg.com singing competition. This was her first recording studio experience where she recorded the Happy Birthday song for radio and internet play.
October 25, 2007, she recorded her first demo CD at Funn Studios in Fredericksburg, Virginia and has begun writing her own songs for an album she would like to release in 2009.
October 17, 2008, she performed at the Richmond Landmark Theater, along with R&B artist Trey Songz , as a top 20 finalist in the Virginia Icon Competition.
Lauren is currently taking vocal lessons from Andra Faye , a fiddle, upright & electric bass & guitar player who has recorded and performed nationally & internationally with Saffire-The Uppity Blues Women.
She also is taking guitar lessons from Lisa Lim , a well respected music instructor and singer/songwriter multi instrumentalist.
Lauren has a third degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, rides ATV's and motorcycles, and loves to swim.
