Wasup everybody! My name is Tavarus and I was born June 26, 1985 in Houston, Texas. Growing up I always knew I wanted to be in the entertainment industry!
I am hip hop and R&B singer and I recently relocated to Los Angeles
to follow my dreams. I gave up everything I had, dropped out of Texas Southern University, and was homeless for a while. But now I'm on my way to the top. This might sound like your average Hollywood story but it's not. I came to LA with only four hundred dollars to spare, and quickly had to find a job my first week here. I started doing security at Capital Records. (If you can't get in through the front door go through the window!!) Barely in the industry I've already worked with greats such as Jamie Foxx, Eddie Murphy, Beyonce, Hilary Swank, Mario, Patrick Demsey, Taye Diggs, Will Smith, Outkast, Ne-yo and Rihanna, Chris Brown.
I am also an actor with an impressive resume, only living here three years and appearing in several upcoming movies and TV shows ( Star Trak, Dream Girls, Freedom Writers, John Tucker Must Die, This Christmas, Alvin and The Chipmunks, Starship Dave, Semi Pro, Girl Friends, The Game, Ugly Betty, ER, 24, The Unit, Cane, The Closer). As you can see I have definitely been on my campaign getting exposure to set up my path to greatness.
