We are a couple of chicks with a vision! We want to provide a platform that showcases "up and coming" female singer songwriters (Acoustic and Full Bands). Co-Founded by Pandy Raye and Rhonda Hitchcock. The "Chicks With Picks" is held every week! We feature different female artists, of any genre, each week. You can find us at the Buffalo Chip, Aunt Chilada's, Joe's Grotto, Skye (Raymonds Lounge) and Pranksters Too. We also have had showcases in Sedona, Prescott & Payson for larger showcases. We had our first festival on March 2nd, 2008 ... an all day and into the evening event, held at the Buffalo Chip. "AZ Chicks with Picks" Fest! Over 1200 people showed up to support the chicks! What a great day!!! We have recently acquired the venue and date for our BIG Chicks With Picks Music Fest 2009!!! It will be held at Tempe Town Lake (awesome 21 acre property) on March 21st!! All day event, with Michelle Branch, Jessi Colter, Sarah Buxton and AZ Idol Bethany Wright! and ALL OUR local chicks together in one day! We will have a smaller stage with local acoustic artists throughout the day also. Activities, music and FUN!!! Ask us how to volunteer and/or a sponsor...better hurry! The word is out! This is a MOVEMENT that is building momentum very quickly...we are looking forward to having festivals across the US! So, get in on the ground floor!!! 'CHICKS ROCK'!!
