Hi. My name is Jordan. I'm a booking agent in NYC at a company called the Agency Group. Basically, I book concert tours for rock bands and assorted singer songwriters.
I grew up in Setauket, NY, went to Emory University until 1995, after which I started my own booking agency with my first clients Evan and Jaron (they're "Crazy For This Girl"), and Angie Aparo (who wrote "Cry" for Faith Hill and his own hit "Spaceship"). I lived in Atlanta until 1998, when I moved back to NYC. Now I get to work with so many cool bands i've been loving for years like Squeeze, Marc Cohn, Will Hoge, and Duncan Sheik, and i've been able to discover some really great new and exciting talent like Teitur, Vienna Teng, The Spring Standards, The Cat Empire, Lenka, and The Alternate Routes, to name barely a few.
In 2002, I met my wife Kate at a beach party and we moved to the Upper West Side of Manhattan, adopted a pug named Lucy, and on July 23rd 2007, we added our first born son Jake to the mix. Recently after his first birthday we finally became suburban and now live in Westchester.
I love to discover new music, ski and play softball, and Kate and I enjoy exploring the world, dining at good restaurants, a quality bottle of wine, watching reality TV, absorbing pop culture, and taking long naps on the weekends when time allows still. I primarily created this page in the hopes you might discover and enjoy one of the fine acts I represent and go see them in concert with your friends.
